Updated - May 2007

NEW Poets with five or more selected Poems
"The Poets' Biographies and Chosen Poems"
New Addition - June 2007

If you are a poet and wish your work to be included in "World Poems", please send Art Arena a Short Biography ( not more than 80 words ), and up to "three" poems ( in "English" ), "one" of which may be selected by our panel.
Please ensure that we receive your
Full Name and Biography with your poetry submission. Failure to send the required information will cause unnecessary delay in our selection procedure.
The standards are high, and we will read every entry sent. Therefore, if you do not hear from us within
two weeks, you have not been successful on this occasion. Whether your poems are chosen or not, you may submit further poems as many times as you wish. However, poems which have already been judged will not be reconsidered.
Poets with
two or more selected poems, will have their chosen poems shown in rotation, on a monthly basis.
Poets whose poems are chosen
"five" times, are awarded the "Golden Pen". They are also privileged by having their own Homepage with links to all their selected poems. "Golden Pen" poets can submit further poems ( still subject to selection ) on a monthly basis. The maximum number of poems that will be selected and displayed in their Homepage is "fifteen".

The poets will appreciate your Feedback.

Quote of the Month:

"Then followed that beautiful season... Summer....
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape
Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood."

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
(1807 - 1882)
