It was cold enough to snow that day

but it doesn't snow here in winter,

only cold rain falls.

The heaven was heavy and gave

birth to a few large flakes of snow

that slowly fell to earth.

One fell into my open palm and

upon contact became, briefly,

a rainbow within a tear.
