I consecrate these words

they are scripted in passage of time

in time’s primordial past

in stormy passions of war,

destruction and ravages of nature

these words torment feelings

they lie among destitutes

in the vicinity of slum dwellers

in the blood bathed fields where

oppressors have met oppressed

in the wings of the docile bird

these words take the fish to

water, lion to den, sets

roar of thunder

We consecrate these words to

a poem conceived when the

written word did not exist

when man was atavistic

Yet, he whispered truth

Spoke the poem
