For one lithographed memory

to reflect upon

in its nudged passing, it takes.

As images throb

on your moonstone glow,

no more pretense it shows.

Breathing a galaxy

of cobalt dazzle,

titanium murmurs kneel

to its exposition.

Taking hold to the very threads,

of nature's magnetic bounty.

And, as dusk kneels

painlessly subdued,

to its ending prayer

of sunset's marking crown,

it evolves upon the mercy of its best.

It can grab on

to darkened passages.

Making the wait

of its own creation submerge,

into a universal

presentation of glory.

Just once,

just once,

you regain a new freedom.

Looking so profoundly

into its raw center

of labyrinth eyeless desires,

the intensity of

myriad awakenings.

Feeling the balance of loss and gain,

folding nicely

into the captive pockets of time.

As you shake hands

with the power of the cosmos,

it begins again, the face value, or not.
