One of Nature's most magnificent
displays is the rainbow. Colour Therapy utilizes the
fact that each major colour of the rainbow, |
RED Of all the colours, red has the slowest vibration, making it the heaviest and the most dense. It relates to instinct, survival, and physical drive. It is the colour of strength, vitality and passion. It stimulates blood circulation and increases the body temperature. Orange This is the colour of joy, movement, and dance. It is a great antidepressant and it encourages creativity, excitement, vibrancy, and humour. Yellow Invigorating and warm, the colour yellow is closely associated with sunlight. It stimulates our intellect and logical mind, as well as helping with the digestive process. It is related to control, will, and ego. Green Green is associated with nature, trusting in the process of life, acceptance, compassion, caring, and sharing. It is balancing, harmonizing, and restful. It soothes the emotions and heals the heart. Blue This colour is restful, truthful, and peaceful. It is the colour of honesty, devotion, and aspiration. Blue slows things down, eases stress, tension, and pain. Violet Violet is soothing and tranquil. It is the colour of introspection, meditation, contemplation, dignity, and respect, and it boosts self-esteem. It feeds the area of insight, intuition, and perception. Magenta This gentle colour has the fastest vibration. It is the colour of letting go and moving on. It is the nurturing and protective colour of unconditional and spiritual love. |
