NAPA's First London Exhibition was held at the Westminster Gallery, Storey's Gate, London, SW1 9NH, United Kingdom.

The exhibition was officially opened by the President of the Association, the renowned International Artist, Alwyn Crawshaw on 29th July.
It then ran from Friday 30th July until Sunday 8th August.

This was NAPA's most successful exhibition to date. It provided an exciting, diverse and comprehensive collection of works by 72 professional and many notable members from around the World. There were 266 paintings on display, and visitors commented on the variety, high standard, and general excellence of the works.
Among the visitors were the Cultural Attache of the American Embassy and his staff, who were impressed with what they saw.
Award winning members included: Ruth E. Bacmeister, Valerie Batchelor, Fern Chambers Bowen, Alwyn Crawshaw, Alan C.L. Edwards, Ian Garland, Mike Hatjoullis, Arthur Hughes, Misty Martin, Dorothy R. Moody, Bill A. Motta, and David W. Stanley.
After the show, encouraging letters were received from companies whose representatives had seen the works on display, interested in printing some members' works.

NAPA's second Open Exhibition was held at: Black Sheep Gallery, Hawarden Castle, Hawarden, Flintshire, CH5 3NY,United Kingdom. Telephone/Fax: +44 1244 535505

The exhibition was opened by Sir William Gladstone, and ran from 7th March, until 4th April 1999.

This Exhibition was a great success. The choice of venue was excellent, and 182 paintings were on display.
More than forty of the members taking part in the event, were from the USA. Other exhibitors came from Brazil, and Portugal.
There were also a number of non-members who were permitted to show their "selected" works.

David Hillhouse (the Principal Museums Officer of the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral) selected the majority of the award winners.
Award winning members included: Alister C. Adams, Alan C.L. Edwards, Arthur Gee, Patricia K. Greenwell, Nick J. Haines, Katy Kianush-Wallace, Margaret C. Law, Misty Martin and Alan Overton.

The Black Sheep Gallery is a venue which NAPA will be using again at a future date.
