Important Information for
all artists applying to NAPA

The following rules also apply to all NAPA Exhibitions,
where works are submitted by NAPA Members for selection

Artists can submit a maximum of six slides/prints/photographs.

Submissions must be presented in the following way:

  • Paintings must be photographed on a neutral background.

  • No unnecessary detail to be included in the image of the painting, such as wallpaper, carpets, chairs etc.

  • Slides/photographs must be in sharp focus.

  • Prints/photographs to be mounted on thin white card.

  • All sides of mounts to be parallel.

  • Clearly label each painting with artist's name, title and size.

  • Indicate which way up the painting should be viewed.

It is in your interest to follow these guidelines and to present your work in a professional way.

NAPA is looking for consistency in your work. Do not submit work in a range of different styles. NAPA places importance upon versatility in the handling of the acrylic paint medium, but a consistency and continuity in style and approach is essential in the work submitted.
