About The Artist :

  • June was born In Woking, Surrey in 1936. She married Alwyn Crawshaw in 1957, and they are both now living in Hickling, Norwich, Norfolk.
  • June paints in watercolour, acrylic and oil.
  • She was made a member of the Society of Women Artists In 1987, a member of the British Watercolour Society In 1988 and a member of the National Acrylic Painters' Association In 1997. She exhibits at all the societies' annual exhibitions, and galleries throughout the country.
  • June had her first book published by HarperCollins in March 1995, entitled, "Watercolour Made Easy". The latest book is by both June and Alwyn; "Alwyn and June Crawshaw's, Outdoor Painting Course", and was published In June 1997. She has also written articles for the "Leisure Painter" magazine and appeared on various radio programmes.
  • June has her work published as fine art prints and greeting cards.
  • She also teaches watercolour painting with Alwyn, on their residential courses. She is featured in three television series with Alwyn. These series have all been screened by Channel 4, and are shown worldwide including the USA, Canada and Japan.
  • In 1992, June helped Alwyn found and launch the Society of Amateur Artists.
  • She is listed in the current edition of "Who's Who In Art".
