• Studied for a B.A. Hons. in Fine Arts at the University of Durham, which he received in 1955.
• Studied art at Department of Fine Art, King's College, Newcastle.
• President of Liverpool Academy of Arts (1972-81).
• Solo Exhibitions: Touring Retrospective (1986), Wolverhampton City Art Gallery (1976), Williamson Art Gallery (1975), Art Net, London (1975), I.C.A. (1968).
• Other Exhibitions: John Moores Liverpool (1962, 1966, 1968, 1974, 1978, 1980).
• Awarded John Moores £2000 Prize (1972).
• Painted murals for Royal Liverpool Hospital (1980 and 1983).
• Works in permanent collections at: Walker Art Gallery, Williamson Art Gallery, and A.C.G.B. Collection.
• Has published a number of books of poetry.
• Sadly, Adrian Henri passed away in December 2000. He shall be greatly missed by all who knew him.
